Glenn Wellesley

Ski Instructor / Ski School Director

Glenn Wellesley is a British ski instructor who has been ski-teaching for well over 15 years. His career has taken him all over the world, including the U.S.A and New Zealand. He made the French slopes his winter home in 2003.

Glenn has his full BASI (British Association of Snowsport Instructors) international ski teacher licence with full French equivalence, but many of the skills that set him apart from other ski instructors came as a result of a ski racing injury. Glenn lost the physical strength to ski at race-level using orthodox methods, so he researched the latest techniques in bio-mechanics and sports science to find the easiest, most energy-efficient ways to ski.

The realization and understanding of how psychology and clarity are key factors in sport spurred him on to seek out and emulate World-renowned mentors and leaders in performance coaching.

Glenn is well equipped to help you “get the most without using the most” and to… Ski with Ease™. These performance soft skill coaching methods are tried and tested by elite athletes and will help ease you into the right mindset to get you skiing as quickly as possible.

Ski Instructor

Jean-Marc learned to ski from a very young age and became a member of the FFS Regional and Regional Alpine Ski Team – downhill speed skiing being his strongest discipline resulting in high-level podium finishes.

From here he became a French National Alpine Ski Instructor and in the late 80’s became one of the youngest ever Trainer’s of CFMM French National Ski Instructors.

Whilst retaining his trainer of trainer status, he worked in Management and a Head Coach position in charge of training and development programs for elite athletes in prestigious regional Alpine ski race clubs. This resulted in several podiums at national level! To improve his English language skills he worked in England for a couple of years at the artificial ski slopes. On returning to France he worked winter seasons with some of the top ski schools in the French Alps as a consultant and head ski instructor of technical training programs. His area of expertise being planning & organization of mental preparation programs of the elite teams in alpine skiing. He joined Ski with Ease ski school 2 years ago and he has proved to be a perfect fit proving that he can transfer his high level skills to our recreational skiing guests.

Part-Time Ski Instructor

Hi I’m Marco, I’ve been working in the Ski industry as an Instructor, Coach, Guide and Educator for 7 years.

I’m a fully certified Ski Instructor and Ski Guide from Austria. I spend most of the time in the Austrian Alps but also in New Zealand. During the summer I coach a Racing Team in Austria and teach peak-weeks with the Ski With Ease team. I look forward to combining my knowledge and techniques and teaching you to Ski With Ease this Season.

Part-Time Ski Instructor

Alena learned to ski at the age of 2 years old and was competing in races from the age of 4!

Ski racing was a big part of her childhood which is no wonder she raced through her ski instructor exams to the highest level and is now looking to become a trainer of instructors. Most of her career has been in the Salzburg region of Austria and now a great addition to The Ski With Ease team. An instructor with lots of patience as well as skill for all ages and levels.

Božidar (Call me Božo)

Part-Time Ski Instructor

In childhood ski racing was my passion, I then qualified for my professional ski instructor licence now some 35 years ago so I have plenty of ski teaching experience, techniques and tactics to pass on!

As founder of a ski club in Slovenia, it was important to keep myself at the forefront of new ski techniques and concepts. I love imparting this knowledge onto my students and watching their skiing progress with more ease.

Outside of skiing, my other passion is a trained Sommelier (trained wine professional) and I work as a consultant in my own company for a healthy dog food brand. So, outside of ski technique I am sure we will have plenty to talk about on the chairlifts.

Teja (Call me Teya)

Part-Time Ski Instructor

Teya is a passionate winter sports lover with her goal to pass that passion forward. She is a firm believer in fun learning which is what got her hooked on skiing at the young age of 3 years old.

Teya turned Pro International Ski Instructor ten years ago proving that starting young is the way to go. Her soft skill coaching quality mixed with a bucket load of patience, enthusiasm and encouragement makes her a perfect instructor for working with kids and nervous skiers. A well rounded and skilled instructor with the ability to easily switch it up a gear for a performance and technical session too.
